Connect TradingView to Autoview

Autoview · Signal source · Updated September 12, 2026

TradingView is a charting and alerting platform, and it's the alert source most Autoview accounts start from. An indicator crosses, a price level hits, a strategy fires: TradingView's alert engine can turn any of those into a webhook, and Autoview turns that webhook into a real order on your exchange.

What TradingView is and who sends alerts from it

TradingView is where most retail traders already build charts, write Pine Script strategies, and set price alerts. If you can define a condition on a TradingView chart, you can attach a webhook to it. That's the entire connection: no code, no server, just a URL pasted into an alert dialog.

How a TradingView alert reaches Autoview

TradingView alerts support a Webhook URL field under Notifications. Paste your Autoview webhook URL there, and TradingView POSTs the alert's message body to it the instant the alert fires. Autoview reads the command inside that message and places the matching order on whichever exchange you've linked to that webhook.

The message body is the command itself, a short string of parameters:

# Text command
s=BTCUSDT b=buy q=1 t=market

# JSON body (Content-Type: application/json)
{"alert": "s=BTCUSDT b=buy q=1 t=market"}

Both work the same way: Autoview reads the command out of either body. TradingView already posts the alert message as plain text, so JSON isn't something you need here -- it's shown so the payload matches every other signal-source page on this site.

TradingView's own placeholders, like {{close}} or {{strategy.order.action}}, get swapped for real values before the alert fires, so you can build a command from live chart data instead of a fixed one. Add d=1 while testing: Autoview logs the order it would have placed without sending it anywhere.

What you can trade once connected

A TradingView alert can drive any exchange Autoview supports: forex through OANDA, futures through Tradovate, US stocks through Alpaca, TradeStation, or Schwab, and more than a dozen crypto exchanges including Kraken, Bybit, OKX, Coinbase, and Crypto.com. Other ways to send Autoview a signal

TradingView is the common sender, but the webhook itself doesn't care where an alert comes from. The same command format works from n8n, Zapier, your own code, or an AI agent talking to Autoview directly. See every intake surface on the signal sources page.
