Trade with an AI agent through Autoview
Every other signal source on this site, TradingView, n8n, Zapier, your own code, sends Autoview a command through a webhook. An AI agent is different: it talks to Autoview's MCP server directly, calling typed tools instead of posting a string. You describe the trade in plain language, the agent fills in the schema, and Autoview validates and places it.
What this is and who it's for
This is for anyone whose "signal" is a conversation, not a chart condition: asking Claude Desktop, a claude.ai connector, Claude Code, or another MCP-aware assistant to place or check a trade on your instruction, whether that instruction came from a TradingView chart you're both looking at, a news item, or your own analysis. It doesn't read your TradingView alerts for you; that's the webhook path above, running on its own with no agent involved.
How an AI agent reaches Autoview
An MCP-aware agent opens a session with Autoview's MCP server and calls entry. It places or previews one order, using credentials you already linked to a hook at /account/setup/ -- no exchange key or secret is ever typed into the chat, just a hook_id. events reads back what happened, since entry returns immediately with a trace rather than waiting for a fill. This is already live, JSON, today, not a placeholder:
{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":2,"method":"tools/call","params":{
"name":"entry","arguments":{
"hook_id":"...",
"symbol":"MESU25","side":"buy","type":"market","quantity":1,
"live":false}}}
Every entry call is a dry run unless live is explicitly set to true. A dry run builds the exact order and reports it back through events as a preview, without touching the broker, so you can see what the agent decided before any money moves.
entry fires one order right now. If you'd rather have the agent build something that keeps working after the conversation ends, the alert tool fuses your order into a webhook, message, and expiration shaped for TradingView's own create_alert -- so the agent sets up a standing TradingView alert for you, and that alert then posts to your webhook the normal way, with no agent involved once it's wired up.
What you can trade once connected
The MCP places real trades today on Kraken (subscription required) and Crypto.com (free, partnership lane), and runs against free paper accounts including Tradovate Simulation, OANDA Practice, Bybit Testnet, Bybit Spot Testnet, and Crypto.com Demo. The full walkthrough, including how to get a token and wire up a custom client, is on the MCP getting started guide -- or see /mcp/ for the product overview.
Other ways to send Autoview a signal
If your signal comes from a chart, a workflow tool, or your own code instead of a conversation, those go through Autoview's webhook: TradingView, n8n, Zapier, or custom code. See every intake surface on the signal sources page.
